This is a proposed exhibition by a group of artists wishing to explore the theme of genetic engineering and science in general, and where it could take us in the next millenium.

Of course, there are a lot of serious moral, social and medical dilemmas raised by the issue of genetic engineering... but hey, we're just ditzy artists so don't expect any answers from us. We're aiming more for a lighthearted observation of the absurdities raised by science, rather than making any profound comment.

There will be as wide a range of media as possible in the show. The proposal so far includes: Interactive sculpture, installation, painting, multimedia, photography, short film, slideshow, computer-generated images, mechanical toys and of course a web-site for the show with links to artists and sponsors sites.

We will be seeking private sponsorship to cover the costs of the exhibition, and hope to be able to make the exhibition available to as wide an audience as possible. We may be taking an absurdist view of the subject, but we certainly wish to encourage public debate over the issues raised by genetic engineering and other advances in science.
